30 KMTC courses are listed by KUCCPS on its portal.
For students to apply to, the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has made 30 Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) courses available on its website.
According to a notice published by the organization on Saturday, July 22,2023, the medical training college offers both diploma and certificate programs.
Community health nursing, mental health and psychiatry, midwifery, radiography and imaging, medical laboratory sciences, occupational therapy, optometry, pharmacy, physiotherapy, and public health are among the programs, which are at the diploma and certificate levels. reads a portion of the statement.
The application is intended for anyone who passed the KCSE test between 2013 and 2022.
According to KUCCPS Chief Executive Officer Dr. Agnes Mercy Wahome, “This is a milestone because KMTC and KUCCPS havea common objective of enhancing access to quality higher education and training opportunities in a manner that is equitable to all Kenyans.”

According to her, offering the KMTC courses through the KUCCPS platform will guarantee equal, impartial, and balanced access to the training possibilities.
Additionally, all possible applicants’ KCSE exam results are stored in a database by KUCCPS, therefore applicants are not required to submit their results.
Through the KUCCPS Student’s Portal, those who are interested in applying can quickly browse the list of programs offered across the 83 KMTC campuses nationally, as well as the minimal subject requirements.
August 4, 2023 has been designated as the deadline for these courses’ application processes.
With KMTC now a member of KUCCPS, the Placement Service is able to place students in degree, diploma, certificate, and artisan programs at 289 public training facilities and 30 private universities across Kenya.
Wahome remarked that the application date has been extended until August 4, 2023, for placement in diploma programs at Primary Teacher Training Colleges. The previously publicized application guidelines are still applicable in all other respects.
