TSC Teachers and Civil Servants Salary Delay in June 2023
Why Other Civil Servants’ & June TSC Salaries Payments Might Take Longer Than Anticipated.
As midterm break draws near, the teachers (both interns and those under p&p) working for the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) are anxiously awaiting their June wages.
In accordance with tradition from prior years, instructors often receive their wages in June before June 20.
Other times, teachers would get paid before or right after the government fiscal year ended and a new one was inaugurated following the reading of the federal budget.
As a result, the majority of instructors now anticipate receiving their paychecks this week. Unfortunately, certain facts indicate that this June will be unique from previous ones.
The processing of teachers’ wages would take longer, according to other sources that also show that TSC payroll is still active and operational.
Additionally, remarks made by the Deputy President, Rigathi Gachagua, and made public last week showed that the state’s economy is still shaky.
Additionally, it is stated that before paying government employees and fulfilling other commitments, the government must first get sufficient funds through the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA).
Teachers’ salaries may be delayed as a result of the government’s financial problems.
Teachers should therefore anticipate receiving their pay on dates that correspond to other months.
