TVET Trainers’ Shortlisting is Postponed by PSC
The Public Service Commission (PSC) has delayed shortlisting 1,300 applicants for Trainer positions at 220 TVET campuses across the country.
The drill was originally scheduled to begin on June 12 but was moved to June 25 by the Commission. Interviews would then begin on July 3, 2023.
PSC requested in a letter dated June 19 that the State Department of TVET move the commencement date from the previously scheduled dates to June 23 due to unanticipated circumstances.
The exercise will be held at ten regional locations across the country where the institutions have assembled.
The Commission shall direct and supervise the shortlisting process, with the assistance of the officers selected by the State Department, the County Directors, and the administration of the host institution.

The concerned Principals have been given instructions to mobilize their teams and relevant documentation prior to the activity.
Other details remain the same, however the arrival date has been changed to Thursday, June 22.
The institution’s top officials have been urged to pay attention to the developments and inform all relevant parties accordingly.
The principals are requested to bring the following items with them to the recruitment exercise as per the Commission’s particular instructions and requirements:
a list of each applicant’s profiles, serialized as necessary; The principal, the chair of the governing council, and a course or subject expert (Technical Person) who was not on the shortlisting panel made comprised the interview panel.
The Deputy Principal, a Course specialist (Technical Person), and an independent member of the governing council made comprised the shortlisting panel.
They are also required to provide their panel members with special considerations so that they can begin the activity on the designated day.
