List of Subjects for Written Exams in Grades 3, 4, and 7 is released by KNEC

National Written Exams for Grades 3, 4, 5, and 7 – October 2023

Kenyan students in grades 3, 4, 5, and 7 will begin taking their national written exams in October 2023. These exams, which are given by the Kenya National Examinations Council (Knec), are given after the students have finished their projects and practicals, which took place between June 6 and August 10.

On October 2, 2023, the written tests for each grade are slated to start. The subjects and associated testing windows for each grade are shown below:

Between October 2 and October 26, 2023, students in grade 7 will take written examinations covering both required and elective topics. These topics consist of:
