Education CS Machogu Issues Directive to All School Heads

Cabinet Secretary for Education Ezekiel Machogu has instructed all head administrators to ensure that lessons are run for no longer than six hours on non-weekdays. He urged that this official directive be followed by all elementary and secondary school teachers.

According to the education CS, classes should be held on weekdays from 8 am to 3:45 pm. This will allow for a teaching service that lasts about six hours. This approach seeks to keep students’ education from becoming erratic or constrained.
In a similar vein, he reminded the institutions that a large number of countries still do not have completely developed educational systems. Finland, for instance, has an excellent three-hour-per-day mandatory education program.

Machogu also emphasized the need of schools maintaining regular school hours so that students can take part in hands-on training activities and manage their own learning.

In front of Mr. Indimuli Kahi, the executive of KESSHA, and other association representatives, the CS made these statements. The state branch of essential learning’s chief secretary, Dr. Belio Kipsang, was present.

Instructing the Machogu on teaching hours, Dr. Belio criticized KESSHA’s practice of distributing school funding among its members.

All school heads receive a directive from Education CS Machogu.

During the conversation, a number of points were raised, mainly from the KESSHA side, and Mr. Ndimuli criticized a number of them. Among the issues brought up were the following ones:

capital resources school attire the price of the teaching aids.
administrators of after-school programs evaluating school funding
These were but a few of the issues that the affiliate believed the service should address. If the issues were fixed, Mr. Ndimuli guaranteed that administrators could run auxiliary schools successfully.
