KMTC Courses Have New Official Minimum Entry Requirements

In order to enroll in KMTC to pursue a certificate program, a student must receive at least a C- on their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examinations in cluster courses (KCSE).

For applicants to be accepted into diploma programs, they must have received a minimum cumulative grade of C in the cluster themes.

For upgrading kmtc courses, a degree in the relevant discipline is required.

All applicants for Higher Diploma programs must have successfully completed a Diploma course in accordance with the requirements mentioned below, so you should be aware of this.

1. The duration of and requirements for higher diploma courses

Acollege student with at least two years of relevant professional experience and a basic diploma.

Fundamental Basic entry criteria;

Every applicant must have a mean KCSE grade of C (or equivalent) and a suitable combination of other disciplines, including arithmetic, chemistry, physics, English, Kiswahili, biology, and other biological sciences.

Now as  opposed to the three and a half years needed for community health nursing, the training is three years long.
