KUCCPS Notifies Applicants for 2023/2024 of Important Information

For the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) 2022 exam, the application and course revision deadlines are drawing near.

By May 17, 2023, at the latest, students must submit their online applications through Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS).

Important Communication from KUCCPS until 2023/20There is a stringent three-week deadline for students to submit their applications for courses at various universities.

CS instruction Ezekiel Machogu emphasized the necessity of establishing the KUCCPS portal for student applications as soon as feasible at the University of Nairobi’s portal presentation on May 3, 2023.

Machogu commended KUCCPS for adhering to all requirements, including releasing details regarding all program expenses.

Additionally, he assured them that the placement service would assign qualified candidates to each program.

Program Options and Support Services: According to CS Machogu, a staggering number of 173,127 students with grades of C+ or higher are qualified for degree programs.24 candidates

The dates by which applications and course changes for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) 2022 must be submitted

If a student receives a C or lower, they will be admitted to Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions.

It is not required, but students with a C+ or higher are free to, apply for courses in TVETs.

Thanks to a collaboration between the Ministry of Education and the Huduma Secretariat that streamlines the application process, students can now apply for programs at any of the 52 Huduma centers.

The staff at these sites will assist students with the application process.

KUCCPS will also send teams to specific campuses to offer additional support.

Acceptance of Students: CS Machogu confidently stated that the government was able to admit all deserving candidates.

This assertion shows how committed the government is to ensuring that every qualified applicant gets the opportunity to pursue higher education.
