KUCCPS Opens Portal For 2022 KCSE Applicants
For 2022 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) applicants who earned a mean grade of C+ (Plus) and above, the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) earlier today launched the portal for applications to enrol at their preferred universities.
All private and public colleges across the nation accept applications from qualified students for degree programs.
Pupils who received a KCSE mean grade of C- or higher are entitled to apply for diploma programs, while those who had a mark of D+ may seek to enroll in artisan programs.
While submitting their applications, all applicants are required to pay Kes. 1,500 before submitting applications through the link: https://students.kuccps.net/login.
Candidates will be eligible for the courses they choose to pursue in the applications if they meet the minimal entry requirements and cluster points for those courses (s).

How to Check Course and University Admitted To On KUCCPS 2021/22 Using Student Portal
If you are a 2020 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) candidate here is how you can check your placement results.
- Visit the KUCCPS student portal via the link: https://students.kuccps.net/
- Log by entering your details as follows.
- Use your full Index Number as your Username.
- Enter Year as 2020
- For the password, use your Birth Certificate Number or your KCPE index number.
After logging in, you will see a text box that reads: “Congratulations, followed by the university you have been placed then finally the course you will pursue.”
KUCCPS SMS notifications
KUCCPS does send an SMS to the registered number having your placement details. You will get the SMS after the placement results have been announced.
hen applying for courses of your choice, KUCCPS provides three period as details below.
1. School Application Window
This window or period lasts between October/November in a normal year and this is when candidates choose their courses before they sit for their examinations. In this application, a candidate pays a fee of Sh. 500. It is the cheapest and the best chance for a candidate to choose their preferred courses.
2. KUCCPS First Revision
For this application window, it is the placement body that announces the dates for application. For this year, the application portal for first revision was open as from Monday the 24th of May 2021 and closed on the 11th of June 2021.
3. KUCCPS Second Revision
In case you have not qualified for selection for any of your preferred choices during the first round of selection, you will be given a chance to do another revision by choosing courses that have unfilled capacities.
4. Placement to any program
Any applicant who met the cut-off points for placement but did not satisfy the prerequisites for their top selections may be offered any course with open seats as long as they also meet the prerequisites for that course (s).
