Modifications to TSC Deductions Worry Intern Teachers
Recently, additional deductions were made to intern teachers’ paychecks by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC), which caused an unanticipated drop in their income. For elementary school teachers, the reduction is now Sh900, while for high school intern teachers, it is Sh1080. As a result, the hardworking teachers’ pay has been further cut.
