Go to www.helb.co.ke, www.universitiesfund.go.ke, or www.hef.co.ke and choose “Student Portal”.
Verify that you have your national identification:

You will be asked to verify that you have a current National ID before starting the application. If you have one, use it as you see fit. If not, you will need to supply your KCSE Index number, which serves as a backup identification.

In the event that you lack a National ID, kindly input your KCSE Index number.
Enter your password and working email address:

Make your account active.
