The government informs teachers looking for work of bad news.
According to a news article published by a reputable source of information, the Kenyan government has issued a severe warning to teachers who are submitting applications for posts during the current hiring process.
The most recent information is that prospective teachers who drink will be tested for it at their TSC interviews, and if they test positive, they will be automatically disqualified from employment. This information was just recently disseminated by a reliable source and is currently making the rounds on social media.
Teachers must undergo a screening process before being appointed because of the important role they play in society.

The terrible news for these teachers is that they will not be able to take part in the TSC recruiting process as a result of the government’s decision. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that teachers who use alcohol while working are one of the biggest barriers to growth in any society.
