The government posts openings for ICT positions in various ministries

The Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced job opportunities in information and communication technology (ICT) for a variety of ministries and government organizations.

According to a formal announcement released on August 1st, the Commission is asking suitable individuals to apply for the roles of Secretary for ICT Infrastructure (1 position), E-Government and Digital Economy (1 position), and Security and Audit Control (1 position).

The Commission is actively looking for ten ICT directors for the State Department of ICT and Digital Economy. There will be a total of 34 directors allocated to different governmental agencies and ministries.

Serving officers must produce their original letters of appointment to their current substantive posts during interviews. The PSC notification has been read in part.

It is not recommended to submit academic or professional certificates that were not obtained prior to the advertisement’s closing date.

How to Use

Individuals who are interested and qualified are encouraged to submit their applications ONLINE via the Commission’s website, www.publicservice.go.ke, or the employment portal.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to bring authentic copies of their National Identity Cards, transcripts from their academic and professional pursuits, and certificates to interviews.

The only people who will be contacted are those who are shortlisted and recruited.

Any form of canvassing will automatically disqualify someone.

The Commission must receive applications no later than August 21, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. (East African Time).
