The placement results for KMTC for 2023 and 2024 have been released.

The placement outcomes for students hoping to enroll at the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) have been made public by the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS).

The placement agency urged students to access their placement outcomes by logging in to the student portal on the KUCCPS website, according to a statement released on Wednesday, August 24.

According to KUCCPS, the Kenya Medical Training College placement results have been made public. Successful applicants have received SMS notifications.

Candidates for the 2022 KCSE were given a variety of certificate and diploma study options.

Medical engineering, health records and information technology, orthopedic trauma medicine, community health, nutrition, and dietetics are a few of the certificate programs.

Medical Laboratory Sciences, Radiography and Imaging, Health Counseling, Nutrition, Dietetics, and Community Health are further viable options within the diploma category. The recently created Emergency Medical Technician Diploma programme is also listed on the institution’s website.

The Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE), combined with particular grades in designated topics, were the requirements set forth by KMTC for prospective applicants to be eligible for diploma programs.

A C in biology, a C- in chemistry, and a minimum grade of C in either English or Kiswahili must be met. Additionally, candidates had to have earned a C- in either physical sciences, physics, or mathematics.

The specific entry requirements for certificate programs at KMTC varied depending on the topic chosen. For instance, students who were interested in the Public Health certificate program had to earn a KCSE average of C-.

On the other hand, in order to meet the requirements for admission to the Nutrition and Dietetics certificate program, students needed to earn a mean grade of D+.
