TSC Announces New Commuter Allowances in Consistent with CBA 2021-2025

Teachers in Kenya are given a commuter stipend by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC), which acts as financial assistance for them to pay for transport costs to and from work.

Grade B5: A 4,000 commuter allowance
Grade C1: A 4,000 commuter allowance
Grade C2: A 5,000 commuter allowance
Grade C3: A 6,000 commuter allowance
Grade C4: 8,000 in commuter compensation
Grade C5: 8,000 commuter allowance
Grade D1: 12,000 commuter allowance
Grade D2: 12,000 commuter allowance
Grade D3: 14,000 commuter allowance
Grade D4: 14,000 commuter allowance
Grade D5: 16,000 commuter allowance
