TSC Posts 10,819 Job Openings: Instructions for Teachers
Established in accordance with Article 237 (1) of the Constitution, the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) serves as a constitutional commission.
In accordance with the Career Progression Guidelines for Teachers, the Commission is asking competent teachers to submit applications for the jobs listed below.
Those who fit the requirements are invited to apply online using the TSC portal, which is accessible at www.teachersonline.go.ke.
The application deadline is September 8, 2023. The selecting process won’t take manual applications into account.
The Teachers Service Commission promotes accessibility and welcomes participation from people with impairments in the application process.
Before their appointments are officially verified, successful interviewees must produce valid Chapter 6 documentation.

Senior Teacher II (Regular Primary School) – T-Scale 7 – 10,819 Positions, Ad No. 61/2023(C1-C2)
Appointment prerequisites: A teacher must fulfill the following requirements in order to be considered for this grade:
Experience: Have worked for at least three (3) years as a Primary Teacher I (T-Scale 6).
Have a satisfactory rating during the performance review process.
Meeting the requirements listed in Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution is a constitutional requirement.
Satisfy any additional requirements that the Commission deems necessary for the position.
Candidates who have worked in the current grade for at least two years in arid and semi-arid areas (ASAL) and Hard-to-Staff counties are eligible for consideration.
