TSC PROMOTIONS TO DEPUTY PRINCIPAL II T-SCALE 12
A promotion for Deputy Principals in secondary schools is the (T-scale 12) post, according to the Teachers Service Commission TSC.
The officers mentioned above support their respective universities’ principals.
The TSC requires these teachers to make sure that the Principal of the institution receives help in the creation and execution of educational plans, policies, programs, as well as curriculum-related activities.
Promotion to deputy principal T Scale 12 grade is always competitive and subject to availability of vacancies in the establishment zone/ area.
TSC LATEST.OFFICIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT TO DEPUTY PRINCIPAL II T-SCALE 12
Inorder for a teacher to get a chance for appointment to this grade one must have
i. been a Deputy Principal III or Senior Master II T-Scale 11 for a minimum period of three (3) years
ii. Been obtained a satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal process
iii. Been successfully undertaken the relevant TPD modules.
iv. a valid Teaching Certificate
v. a Master’s degree in a relevant area
vi. met the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution
vii. met any other requirement deemed necessary by the Commission.
Teachers with the above qualifications now stand a better chance for the promotions to serve in the next levels.
