TSC Publicity Regarding Teachers’ Promotion In ASAL And Hard-To-Staff Areas

The following advertising on the promotion of teachers in Arid and Semi-Arid Lands (ASAL) and Hard-to-Staff areas has been released by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).

VACANCIES FOR TEACHERS DEPLOYED AS PRINCIPALS, DEPUY PRINCIPALS, HEAD TEACHERS & DEPUTY HEAD TEACHERS IN ASAL AND HARD-TO-STAFF COUNTIES/SUB-COUNTIES

According to Article 237 of the Constitution, the Teachers Service Commission was created as a constitutional commission. Establishing and deploying institutional administrators is one of its responsibilities.

For the positions listed below in the following ASAL and Hard-to-Staff Counties/Sub-Counties: Baringo (Baringo North, Tiaty East, Tiaty West, and Marigat Sub-Counties), Garissa, the Commission is accepting applications from teachers serving as Principals, Deputy Principals, Head Teachers, and Deputy Head Teachers. Samburu, Taita Taveta, Tana River, Turkana, Wajir, and West Pokot are among the counties represented by Homa Bay (Suba and Mbita Sub-Counties), Isiolo, Kajiado (Mashuuru, Loitoktok, and Kajiado West Sub-Counties), Kilifi (Magarini and Ganze Sub-Counties), Kitui (Mumoni, Mutitu North,

Interested candidates, who meet the required qualifications, should submit their applications online through the TSC portal – www.teachersonline.go.ke so as to be received on or before 31st January, 2023. REQUIREMENT FOR APPOINTMENT

To qualify for appointment to this grade, a teacher must:-

  1. Be currently assigned by the Commission to perform the duties of Principal at T-Scale 12 (D2);
  2. Have obtained a satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal process;
  3. Meet the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution; and
  4. Meet any other requirements deemed necessary by the Commission.

REQUIREMENT FOR APPOINTMENT

To qualify for appointment to this grade, a teacher must: –

  1. Be currently assigned by the Commission to perform the duties of Principal at T-Scale 11 (D1);
  2. Have obtained a satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal process;
  3. Meet the re requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution; and
  4. Meet any other requirements deemed necessary by the Commission.

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT

To qualify for appointment to this grade, a teacher must: –

  1. Be currently assigned by the Commission to perform the duties of Principal at T-Scale 10 (C5);
  2. Have obtained a satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal process;
  3. Meet the re requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution; and
  4. Meet any other requirements deemed necessary by the Commission.

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT

To qualify for appointment to this grade, a teacher must: –

  1. Be currently assigned by the Commission to perform the duties of Principal at T-Scale 9 (C4);
  2. Have obtained a satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal process;
  3. Meet the re requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution; and
  4. Meet any other requirements deemed necessary by the Commission.

To qualify for appointment to this grade, a teacher must: –

To qualify for appointment to this grade, a teacher must: –

  1. Be currently assigned by the Commission to perform the duties of Deputy Head Teacher at T-Scale 8 (C3);

  3. Meet the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution; and

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT

To qualify for appointment to this grade, a teacher must: –

  1. Be currently assigned by the Commission to perform the duties of Deputy Head Teacher at T-Scale 7 (C2);
  2. Have obtained a satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal process;
  3. Meet the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution; and
  4. Meet any other requirements deemed necessary by the Commission.

ADVERT NO. 30/2023: SENIOR TEACHER II (C2/T-SCALE 7) – 284 POSTS

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT

To qualify for appointment to this grade, a teacher must: –

  1. Be currently assigned by the Commission to perform the duties of Deputy Head Teacher at T-Scale 6 (C1);
  2. Have obtained a satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal process;
  3. Meet the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution; and
  4. Meet any other requirements deemed necessary by the Commission.

NOTE:

  1. Applicants shall be required to upload the letter of deployment to the current responsibility during application.
  2. Candidates who will be successful in the interviews shall be required to present valid Chapter Six documents before they are considered for appointment.
