TSC TO DEPLOY OVER 10,000 TEACHERS TO JSS

TSC teacher deployment. More than 10,000 teachers will once more be sent to junior high and senior schools, according to the Teacher Service Commission.

These instructors, who were initially employed by TSC as primary teachers, are qualified to teach in junior secondary institutions.

TSC must advertise for the positions before anyone may be assigned to teach in a junior high or high school.

Social media sites and the official TSC website are used for the advertisement.

TSC minimal standards
The prerequisites comprise:

must be employed by TSC as a primary school teacher.
possess a minimum of a Plus in two teaching-related KCSE or equivalent disciplines from Kenya.
obtained a mean score of C+ in the KCSE or a comparable exam for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education
must have completed at least 8 units in each of the two teaching subjects.
TSC CEO must keep an eye on how the Teachers report to their new station in order to ensure easy and seamless implementation of the CBC curriculum.

TSC teacher deployment

In the most recent modifications under the implementation of the CBC curriculum, JSS students take a minimum of 9 topics.

A learner is required to select no more than two subjects from each of the following categories:

Along with home science, computer science, foreign languages like German, French, Mandarin, Arabic, Kenyan Sign Language KSL, and indigenous languages, the visual and performing arts also incorporate home science.
The same amount of time is allotted for each lesson in the modified and standard curricula. 40 minutes long.
