KNEC CONTRACTED PROFESSIONAL: SIGN IN,GET INVITATION LETTER
KNEC has successfully completed the personnel assignment process for the 2023 KCPE and KCSE national examinations, which are scheduled to occur between October and November 2023.
The KCPE 2023 examinations have already concluded, and preparations for the marking phase are currently underway. Meanwhile, the KCSE 2023 examinations are ongoing, with the official sit-in exams set to commence tomorrow.
For professionals contracted to participate in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) and Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exams, there is good news. You can now access and download your deployment letters via the KNEC portal.
To download your deployment letter, follow these steps:
1. Log in using your credentials through the KNEC portal: [KNEC Portal Link](https://examinersapp.knec.ac.ke).
2. Navigate to the ‘Dash Board’ tab and check under ‘deployments’ to find your assigned examination center, duty station, and position.
3. A table will be displayed, showing details under the ‘Exam,’ ‘Duty Station,’ ‘Position,’ and ‘Actions’ columns.
4. Under the ‘Actions’ column, click on the ‘Download Appointment Letter’ link to retrieve your letter.
5. After a successful login, ensure your personal information is accurate, save it, and proceed to access, read, accept, or reject the invitation letter. Once accepted, download and print the invitation letter.
If you’ve forgotten your password or don’t have one, you can reset it with these simple steps:
1. Click on the ‘forgot password’ link.
2. Enter your mobile phone number in the format 2547****.
3. Click on ‘Reset Password.’
4. You will receive new login credentials from KNEC via SMS on your phone.

Additionally, KNEC has published the list of selected invigilators and supervisors for specific centers and schools on the school’s account in the portal. This list includes the names of contracted professionals, their positions (Centre Manager, Supervisor, or Invigilator), gender, and National Identity Card (ID) numbers.
The portal also provides details on Examination Center information, Examination Materials Distribution Center information, Distance from the Distribution Center, and the registered number of candidates.
To access the list of KNEC contracted professionals, follow these steps:
1. Log in to the KNEC contracted portal at [KNEC Portal Link](https://examinersapp.knec.ac.ke).
2. Enter the User Name (Starting with KCSE Centre code) and password (Specific to each center and held by the center manager).
3. Input the approximate distance between the center/school and the exam distribution center.
4. Log in to the center’s account.
5. Complete your personal information upon successful login, save it, and proceed to access, read, accept, or reject the invitation letter. Once accepted, download and print the invitation letter.
