KPSSA: Junior Secondary Schools To Participate in Athletic Events at Primary Schools

Junior secondary school pupils will participate in sporting events alongside their primary school counterparts, according to the chairperson of the Kenya Primary School Sports Association (KPSSA).

Students in grade seven (7) will participate in the field and track competitions that were introduced for primary schools.

The 2023 track and field events are listed in the KPSSA letter to all Regional, County, and Sub-County secretaries.

The track events are listed below in chronological order.

400 metres boys/girls

Requirements for learners participating in the events this year are as follows:

Duly filled introductory form signed and endorsed by the Headteachers (attached).
An athlete’s full photograph taken with the Headteacher and endorsed by the Headteacher at the back (no Group photo)
Photocopy of birth certificate endorsed by the Headteacher,
