KUCCPS 2023 Publications Results of TTC Placement; How to Check. The teacher training colleges’ (TTC) long-awaited placement results have been made public.
The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) asked prospective teacher trainees to view their placement information on the KUCCPS student portal on Wednesday.
The DPTE/DECTE entry standards have undergone a considerable revision, which is good news for future educators.
New modifications include:
For both the Diploma in Primary Teacher Education (DPTE) and the Diploma in Early Childhood Teacher Education (DECTE) programs, a grade of C is now the least requirement.
Subject groups are no longer necessary.
In the past, candidates had to have earned a C (Plain) in English, Kiswahili, mathematics, one humanities course, and one scientific course.
Through the removal of the prerequisite for specific topic clusters, this amendment makes guarantee that applicants with disabilities are not subject to further restrictions.
The intention is to make the route to becoming a teacher more accessible to everyone.

How to Use the KUCCPS Student Portal
To visit the official KUCCPS website via your preferred web browser, go to www.kuccps.ac.ke.
Search for the “Student’s Portal” tab in the top right corner of the Home Page. Click it to get to the LOGIN page.
Once you’ve reached the LOGIN page, click the “LOGIN” tab, which is likewise located in the upper right corner.
Step 2: Registering On the LOGIN page, there is a plain and easy-to-use STUDENT LOGIN form. Follow these instructions to log in quickly:
In the login box, enter your KCSE Index Number, KCSE examination year, and password.
Once the required information has been entered, click the “LOGIN” button at the bottom of the form.
Note: Your default password is initially set to the number from your birth certificate. If this doesn’t work, you could try using your KCPE Index Number as your password.
By following these two simple steps, you can access the KUCCPS Student’s Portal and obtain the vital information you need concerning your placement and academic future.
