KUCCPS opens inter-institution transfer site
Students taking the KCSE in 2022 will now be able to change or transfer between the programs or institutions that they had previously chosen.
The Kenya Universities and College Placement Service has made this known after launching its portal for inter-institution transfer applications.
Student applicants should submit their applications via the KUCCPS student portal, which can be accessed at http://students.kuccps.net.
Nevertheless, the deadline is set for August 15, 2023.
C# instruction According to Ezekiel Machogu’s announcement this week, 285,167 students who took the KCSE in 2022 were accepted into universities and other institutions.
In any of the 282 training schools, students have the option of obtaining degrees, diplomas, certifications, and artisan training.
The placement in universities and colleges round was the next step, and “a total of 870,561 candidates met the requirements to move on to that round.” “A total of 285,698 students applied for placement to the institutions out of these,” said Machogu.
A total of 140,107 students were accepted into degree-granting programs. 130,485 of those students will enroll at public colleges, while 9,622 will choose private institutions.
After learning that 408,879 students had not applied to any degree or certificate programs, Machogu expressed their worry.
People who hadn’t yet applied were urged to do so, since there was still a chance they would be offered a spot, he said.
There is still space available in our universities and technical institutions, so we hope they will be able to apply. “This opportunity has us very excited,”
