TSC Announces 665 Job Openings for Curriculum Support Officers

The 665 job openings for Curriculum Support Officers (CSO) have been announced by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).

The Commission announced in a notice that it was seeking to hire qualified individuals to fill the roles of CSOs on Wednesday, June 28.

The commission wants to hire 295 Special Needs Curriculum Support Officers and 84 CSO 1 Regular Curriculum Support Officers.

The notification stated, in part, that “Interested candidates, who meet the required qualifications, should make their applications online through the TSC Website – https://teachersonline.tsc.go.ke to be received on or before 5th July 2023.”

Requirements for the Appointment for all positions 

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. Have served as a Curriculum Support Officer for a minimum period of three (3) years.
2. Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Education from a recognized institution, or a Bachelor’s degree along with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from a recognized institution.
3. Hold a Master’s degree in Education/special education from a recognized institution.
4. Have a certificate in computer application skills.
5. Have completed a management course lasting at least two (2) weeks.
6. Demonstrate merit and ability as evident in work performance and results.

The commission has urged applicants to note the following ;

During the interview process, candidates must present original copies of their National Identity Card, academic and professional certificates, as well as their appointment and designation letter to the current grade.

Successful candidates will need to provide valid documents pertaining to chapter 6 of the Constitution before they can be appointed.
