Salary Scale and Payslip For TSC Intern Teachers

One year of service is required of all teachers hired by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) through the internship program.

It’s important to note that intern instructors are qualified to apply for permanent employment roles if the TSC posts job openings.

The Commission or its designated representatives reserve the right to terminate an intern’s internship if they don’t uphold the code of conduct or satisfy acceptable performance requirements.

A stipend decided by the Commission is given to interns in accordance with the TSC internship agreement, subject to annual budgetary provisions.

A monthly payment of Ksh 20,000 is paid to secondary school intern teachers, from which two deductions must be made: Ksh 200.00 for the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) and Ksh 750.00 for the National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF).

The teacher receives a net wage of Ksh 19,050.00 after 950.00 in total deductions.

To access the TSC Intern Payslip, follow these steps:

1. Open your browser and navigate to the TSC T-Pay site.
2. Scroll down the page until you find the login window for TSC payslips.
3. In the provided boxes, enter your TSC number or ID number and password as prompted.
4. Once you have entered your login credentials, click on the login tab.
5. If you have forgotten your password, you can click on the ‘reset password’ option to generate a new password.
6. After successfully logging in, locate the Latest Payslip option from the list on the left side of your screen.
7. Click on the Latest Payslip option, and the most recent payslip will be displayed on your screen.
8. If you want a physical copy, click on the Print tab.
9. By default, payslips for the last four months are displayed. If you need to download payslips from previous months, select the ‘View Payslips’ sub-menu on the left side of your screen and specify the desired year and month.
