KMTC Course Application Results Released by KUCCPS; How to Check

The second round of course application results for the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) have been made public by the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS). According to the announcement given to the public on Tuesday, candidates had already received SMS alerts of their results. They also provide directions on how to view and retrieve their results.

In order to check the status of their application, applicants are asked to log in to their portal via the address http://students.kuccps.net after receiving this news through SMS. On September 12, KUCCPS launched its site for revisions for those who were not placed at KMTC.

Candidates who applied for KMTC courses through KUCCPS initially had the option to change their choices. In addition, the revision period will run from September 12 to September 16, and the application process is free.

Previously, candidates had until August 4 to submit their applications, and the portal was open to them as of July 22. Mercy Wahome, the CEO of KUCCPS, reported that they accepted applications up to August 4 in exchange for a Sh2,000 enrollment fee at one of the 42 KMTC schools statewide.

KMTC only has room for 11,000 students, despite getting 42,000 applications, hence about 32,000 applicants were unsuccessful. Wahome further said that thirty distinct KMTC programs were available for application on the KUCCPS webpage. Following the incorporation of KMTC into KUCCPS, this placement agency attempts to place students in degree, diploma, certificate, and artisan programmes at 289 state training institutions and 30 private universities in Kenya.
