Judiciary Posts Jobs for Kenyans with C- Grades in KCSE; Apply Now

The recent announcement of 961 job openings by Kenya’s Judicial Service Commission is a significant step toward the digitisation of judicial processes. The leader of the Judiciary Service Commission, Martha Koome, is essential to this effort.

The JSC is actively seeking experienced individuals to fill positions at 79 court stations in 30 different counties, according to an advertisement published on Monday, September 11. Depending on the workload at each station, these positions are temporary and are anticipated to last anywhere from 5 to 54 days.

This hiring effort is intended to assist the judiciary’s ambitious digitization agenda. This effort attempts to digitize every manual file currently in existence. The goal of this project is to digitally scan all open case files, gather case information, and submit these scans to the Case Tracking System (CTS).

This project’s introduction of young people to a work environment with digital tools that enables them to support themselves is one of its main objectives. By giving young people the tools, training, and mentorship they need to work and earn a living with dignity, this program hopes to close the gap between the demand for certain talents and the employment opportunities available.

Team leaders must have at least a C- on their KCSE, and they are paid KSh 2000 per day.

  1. Digitization Agents (Scanning Operators) (79 positions): Scanning operators’ main responsibilities include scanning ready-to-use documents, accurately renaming scanned pictures, performing quality checks on finished scans, saving them to a network storage system, and uploading them to CTS. They will be paid KSh 1500 per day.
  2. Digitization Agents (Data Entry) (803 positions): Data entry specialists prepare physical files by doing activities including unbinding, document sorting, page separation, listing, pagination, and indexing after receiving files from the registries’ in-charge.
