According to reports, the TSC headquarters issued the final batch of letters, which are now being printed and distributed to teachers who requested them through County and subcounty offices.
A few senior teachers and deputy headteachers/principals received letters after successfully attending interviews in their counties during the most recent recruiting.
The Teachers Commission issued 14,738 separate teacher promotion commercials in December 2022.
The first and second calls for applications were made this year in January and March, respectively.
The benefits of possessing them are predicted to cause a rush for the top positions.

They included;
- 8 principals
- 6 deputy principals in Special Needs Education (SNE) schools,
- 987 deputy head teachers in primary schools.
In order to allow interested Teachers to submit their applications, Dr. Macharia extended the application deadline until June 15th.
“The Commission aims to ensure that teachers are promoted as a means of recognizing and rewarding teachers’ effort and performance, aligning them for succession management and career progression, and motivating them to perform better in their duties and responsibilities,” said Macharia.

Despite the fact that just 5,155 teaching positions were filled, there are still 2,592 empty positions.
