NEW TSC LIST OF SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES FOR NOVEMBER PROMOTION 2023
Promotion list was updated by TSC. In accordance with the 2017–2021 Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), teacher promotions will be put into effect by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) in 2023.
The last pay raises under this contract are expected to occur at the end of November 2023.
Teachers who have worked for at least three years will principally profit from these promotions, which will advance their careers considerably.

The kind of teachers who will gain from the 2023 TSC Promotions
Teachers will be moved to higher job groups as a result of these promotions, which comes with better salary and benefits.
To raise the job groups of teachers, the TSC is actively working on these promotions.
In the near future, C1 teachers will be transferred to C2, C2 teachers to C3, and C3 teachers to C4.
An estimated 600 million shillings would be spent on the promotion of 4,595 primary school teachers from Job Group C1 to Job Group C2.
In addition, 2,637 college instructors who are now in Job Group C3 will be moved to Job Group C4, which will cost 400 million Shillings.
TSC updated the list of promotions.
Additionally, 652 college professors who are now teaching in Grade D3 will advance to Grade D4 with a budget of more than 175 million shillings.
Promotion of Senior Masters, Head Teachers, Deputy Principals, and Principals
Promotions will also be available to other types of educators, such as
Principals, vice principals, senior masters, head teachers, and deputy head teachers at secondary and primary schools.
The post with the greatest openings among these is anticipated to be Deputy Head Teacher II for Regular Elementary Schools, with 7,720 vacancies.
The detailed strategy will include promotions for
2,733 regular primary school head teachers, 1,330 secondary school teachers, 1,725 deputy principal IIs, 602 regular school leaders, 224 secondary school deputy principal IIIs, and 208 senior master IIs.

At least 2.2 billion shillings will need to be set aside by the National Treasury.

The TSC has been assiduously addressing the nationwide teacher shortage in recent months,
